Battlegrounds Mobile India may face ban notice before launch: Report

Battlegrounds Mobile India Ban News, Updates, Release: New PUBG Mobile for India aka Battlegrounds Mobile India may face ban notice from the Government of India before the expected launch date. We all know that in last year Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India had banned multiple Chinese apps due to the data privacy and security issues.

From then, the parent company of PUBG, Krafton Inc is continuously trying to launch the PUBG game in India. And for that reason they have done every possible changes to protect the laws and introduce the game in India gaming market. Finally, when the company is going ahead for the launch date, then something is occurring that may waste the whole thing again.

The former union minister and Arunachal Pradesh MLA, Ninong Ering has asked the Government of India for a ban on the relaunch of PUBG Mobile as Battlegrounds Mobile India, he is assuming that China’s Tencent is again trying to gain the access to the Indian market.

According to a report by The Economic Times, “In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior union ministers, Ering said that even though the South Korean game publisher was launching the game independently in India, Tencent is currently the second-largest stakeholder with a 15.5% stake in Krafton.

“This is a mere illusion and a trick to relaunch the same game with minor modifications and collect user data of millions of our citizens, including our children and transfer it to foreign companies and the Chinese government,” Ering also mentioned in the letter.

He raised the ban request to protect the data privacy law of the country. While the privacy policy for the new game says that that data will be stored in servers located in India and Singapore, it will be transferred to other countries and regions to operate the game service and meet legal requirements.

So, the Battlegrounds Mobile India game may face ban notice before launch.
