Free Fire Esports Premier League (ESPL): IndiaTodayGaming has announced Free Fire Esports Premier League (ESPL) on today. Esports Premier League (ESPL) is a nationwide eSports tournament first of its kind Free Fire tournament. The tournament will follow the IPL format where teams will compete against rivals to represent eight cities across the country. India Today Gaming, the gaming, and eSports division of India Today Group is organizing this multi-city tournament that will go on for about three months.
During the three months, ESPL will comprise more than 700 online matches with more than 300 hours of gaming content. Interested players and fans can watch the live streams for the matches in six languages including Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali. The live stream broadcasts will be available on the YouTube and Facebook channels of India Today Gaming along with India Today and AajTak Websites. India Today Gaming has also teamed up with Hotstar to stream ESPL across the country.
The registrations for the tournament will kick off on May 15th, 2021 with finals scheduled for August 2021. Teams will get a chance to represent eight teams including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bangalore. Towards the end, 8 teams will compete against each other for a total prize pool worth Rs 25 lakhs.

Registration
The registrations for the tournament will start from tomorrow on May 15th, 2021 with finals scheduled for August 2021. Teams will get a chance to represent eight teams including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bangalore.
You can not make changes to your team after registration. Each team registration creates a unique team ID. However, you can register as a new team in case of any change. But, you are not allowed to compete as part of two different teams during the tournament.
Format
India Today Gaming has provided the format of this Free Fire Esports Premier League tournament. They will choose 8 teams from the registered teams to represent One City each from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Punjab & Rajasthan.
Initial qualifier rounds are in Battle Royale format & once 8 teams are selected it will change to Clash Squad format. Initial qualifier rounds are in Battle Royale format & once 8 teams are selected it will change to Clash Squad format.
After selection, 8 teams will be divided into two groups, Group A and Group B.
First Semi-final 1 will be played between Group A Winner vs Group B Runner up.
Semi-final 2 will be played between Group A Runner up vs Group D Winner.
Grand Finals will be matches will be played among Winner of Semi-Final 1 vs Winner of Semi-Final 2.

Free Fire Esports Premier League has a massive prize pool of 25 Lakhs INR. This will be distributed as following:
