There are several characters in Free Fire and even more weapons. Of course, those of you who have been playing this game for a while might have already figured out what your favourite weapons and character abilities are.
Those of you who read our article frequently might be aware of what the meta is like right now, and how you can benefit the most from it. We’re glad that you tune in to these regularly, and hence, today, we would like to help you take your game to the next level.
There are certain characters whose abilities when combined with certain weapons can make you unstoppable. Today we will learn about certain weapon-character combos that will be an efficient killing machine.
- M82B + Moco’s Hacker’s Eye
Moco is a veteran hacker. If you manage to connect a single shot onto an enemy while you have Moco’s ability equipped, it will reveal their position to your entire team for a short duration. This makes it incredibly useful in urban environments where you don’t want to lose track of enemies. It makes it near impossible for the opponents to juke you, and you’ll always have the information you need. However, there’s a greater level to this. Sure, Moco is helpful in urban combat, but can you imagine the destructive potential of Moco while your enemy is in an open area, with only gloo walls as cover?
This is best paired up with an M82B. No more spamming shots and trying to guess where your opponent would be behind a gloo wall. If you tag them with Moco, they won’t be safe behind their gloo walls either because now you know exactly where to fire. The gloo wall penetration of the M82B combined with Moco makes it easy to take down enemies without hardcover.
- M1887 + Shirou’s Damage Delivered
Shirou has a unique passive ability called Damage Delivered. When a player is hit by an enemy within 80 meters, the attacker is marked for the player, and the first shot has additional armor penetration. It starts at 50% extra armor penetration at Level 1 and goes up all the way to 100% at Level 6.
This is best combined with weapons that actually have the potential to “one-shot” kill someone.
The M1887 shotgun is one reliable double-barrel shotgun that has the potential to knock someone out in the two bullets that it has in the chamber, even if you use it without Shirou’s ability. Now with the additional armor penetration going up to 100%, you can easily one-shot opponents.
Worried that you’ll miss the shots and reload at an unfortunate moment in front of an enemy? Don’t worry, since the enemies are marked on your screen, you can start pre-aiming around corners. That’ll make it easier to land shots.
- Grenades + Clu’s Tracing Steps
Clu is the best detective in the game, an expert at finding out the enemy’s position. She has an active ability that ‘scans’ the area around the players, marking the minimap if there are enemies nearby. When used properly, especially in an urban scenario, she can pinpoint exactly which house the enemies are in. Once you know their positions, and the positions of the angles/rooms they are holding, you can start tossing grenades to lure the enemy out.
Tossing grenades onto an enemy without information is like taking a shot in the dark, which turns into more of a trial and error process where you toss several grenades hoping that at least one of them forces the enemy to move and you make something happen with that information.
With Clu, grenades can be used as actually killing devices rather than just being used to pre-emptively clearing out rooms. If you’ve got Alvaro’s Art of Demolition along with it, you can destroy the opposition without even having to look at them.
These were just some of the abilities that you can combine with certain weapons. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are several more combinations that one can try. We will perhaps explore those in a future article. For now, try these out and let us know how they worked out for you.
