Sony Partnered up with Discord to integrate this voice chat app in PlayStation for gamers

Sony Discord Partnership Update: Discord, is one of the famous communication platform among gamers and used by more than 140 million users every month around the world. So, Sony will bring this popular Discord messaging and voice chat platform to the PlayStation console in early 2022.

The integration of the game-centric chat app with the PlayStation Network (PSN), the online gaming service for the PlayStation console, is a major step forward for the Japanese giant Sony and has surprised many in the gaming community. The President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan, said about this announcement in this article.


“Our goal is to bring the Discord and PlayStation experiences closer together on console and mobile starting early next year, allowing friends, groups, and communities to hang out, have fun, and communicate more easily while playing games together”, said by Jim Ryan, President & CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
